The Sherpa has brought with it a new meaning to off-road camping. With as little as a click of a button you can enter the main heated sleeping cabin, then merely unclip the Alucab rooftop tent for the kids, pull out the awning, and you’re ready to settle in for the night.
Once you’ve got yourself sorted for the evening and dinner is cooking, you can now unclip the drop down shower pod and fire up the diesel water heater and get the kids cleaned up. Maybe even watch a DVD on your 24 inch LED TV in the main cabin after a long day of exploring this beautiful country. It sounds like it’s mom and dad’s turn to enjoy their time sitting around the fire with a nice glass of red.
The kitchen offers ample fridge space with two 30 Liter Isotherm fridge drawers to keep the food nice and fresh and the drinks cold and crisp. With a simple fold-down bench you can quickly access your pots and pans to start cooking up your finest camp dinner. We’ve also included a slide-out drawer for all the foods that don’t have to be refrigerated. Once dinner is all said and done, you can slide out the pop down sink to make cleanup a breeze.
Any serious camper, once you consider the list of inclusions, the level of design detail, and the quality of the craftsmanship, will conclude; that the Sherpa equates to fantastic value for money. But hey, how do you put a price on family memories?
Only weighing in at 55kg a composite panel much like the Pursuit only thinner and made up of honeycomb core rather than RTMX. Measuring 20mm in total thickness a super lightweight but extremely strong structure giving the Sherpa its distinctive shape. The Sherpa body much like its bigger brother is made up of 3mm 5083 marine grade plate alloy a double skin with air pocket for insulation forms the bottom half of the Sherpa. Taking a different approach to the pursuit it has a sub-chassis welded to the bottom of the base made up of 5mm 5083 marine grade CNC router cut spines running horizontally to the body forming a skeleton type structure that sleeves the unique Sherpa chassis.
One of the most unique parts of the Sherpa is the chassis made up of a 150mm x 100mm x 4mm RHS centre beam that travels right through to the back recovery point. This type of construction gives the Sherpa extreme manoeuvrability depending on the tow vehicle the Sherpa can pull angles past 90 degrees without coming close to getting hung up on the back of the car. Paired with Cruisemaster suspension you have the choice of either air or coil even after the build has been constructed.

This heritage has resulted in a market leading 2.8T and 4.45T ATM load ratings.
